Feeding Options

There are three ways to introduce the benefits of Raw Advantage into your pet's diet:

Full raw diet

the ideal feeding solution

50/50 diet

mixed with your pet's high-quality kibble or as replacement for canned food

As a supplement

added to your pet's daily diet

Your pet will benefit the most from a 100% raw diet; however, this is not always possible for pet owners. When feeding 100% raw is not an option, a half or partial raw diet (added to a clean, quality kibble or canned food) is a viable and beneficial alternative.

However, because cats are strict carnivores, they rely on nutrients in animal tissues to meet their specific and unique nutritional requirements: a 100% raw food diet for felines is ideal (and necessary).

To the right is a guide for feeding 100% raw, 50/50 or simply added to the daily diet (a chunk a day keeps the doctor away). We recommend feeding twice daily; half in the morning and half in the evening. The portions outlined below are based on feeding 2% of your pet’s weight daily (kittens, puppies and lactating/gestating females may require up to 5% of their total body weight).
